In October 1996 husband and wife team Eric Malka and Myriam Zaoui sold their car and opened The Art of Shaving shop on New York’s Upper East Side. The Art of Shaving was the first shop dedicated to the finest selection of men’s shaving and grooming products. Within the first year, sales far exceeded expectations, leading the company to open a second location, on Manhattan’s Madison Avenue, which contained an in-store Barber Spa. A third Manhattan location quickly followed.

Nordstrom's is carrying The Art of Shaving Blue Box Gift Set for $100 which includes "everything you need for a close, clean shave [...] Shaving Cream, Pre-Shave Oil, After-Shave Balm, Pure Badger Brush plus The Art of Shaving Book." Deal? Um, yeah.
