"Sensor" razors from anyone
In day two of patent, copyright, and lawsuit week, we feature our own Boston based company again. Gillette seems to be struggling in the European courts. In this case, they seem to have lost the exclusive use of the word "Sensor" as relating to razors.
Boston-based Gillette Co. can't stop a Finnish company from using its "Sensor" trademark on replacement-blade packages, said an aide at Europe's highest court.
Not being an expert on copyrights and trademarks I can't speak authoritatively on this one, but it sure seems Gillette has a name they could protect within the shaving world. These guys need to get a new team of trademake and copyright laywers.
