Kiehl's Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-Free Toner

I've been using Kiehl's Calendula Herbal Extract Alcohol-Free Toner for about a month now.

A very effective, alcohol-free toner made with pure, soothing herbal extracts. Also contains Burdock extract, known for its soothing properties. Excellent for use after shaving or to improve the appearance of problem areas and other minor skin irritations.

I use it after I'm finished shaving but before I put on any aftershave or lotion. I was looking forward to trying it since a good friend recommended using some sort of toner after shaving, but honestly I can't say my face feels or appears any different in the month I've been using it. Not sure the best way to apply it, but I moisten a cotton ball with the toner and wipe it across my face, which is the way Kiehl's recommends using it. If you're ordering from Kiehl's you get three free samples. Might as well try some toner. I'd love to hear feedback from anyone using this or a similar product. Jury's still out for me.
