Seiko Cleancut - The Pornstars' Choice
So you want to shave down there. Then you're going to want the Seiko Cleancut ES-412 Shaver. And not just because Amazon reviewer J Love "Jen"'s friend told her that the Seiko is popular in the adult entertainment business, you're going to want it because... well... actually that's why you're going to want it.
The Seiko offers a dry shave, and most sites recommend using some sort of talc-free powder before you shave. Also, your pubes need to be "stubble length", so do some prep work with a trimmer or (careful!) pair of scissors.
$59.95 at Amazon. $59.99 at ShopInPrivate.com. Please, spend some money on quality here.

I used to shave occasionally using a blade. Like once or twice a month and then have a few days of itchy feeling and ingrown hairs. Not pleasant, but I sure as hell didn't want to shave every day using a blade like that.
I just bought the Seiko Clean Cut and it really does work well. Works safer than a blade. You have to use it daily or every other day to keep shaving time short.
I noticed it does miss a few hairs for me, but those hairs obviously don't interfere with the smoothness of the shave. And I can always take scissors (carefully) or even use a blade for that once a week (the most hairs it misses are close to where the hair I want starts). So it's not the forest to desert I was expecting, but more like a forest to shrubbery to desert. Therefore either scissors or a blade would work well to get rid of the shrubbery.
One thing is don't overuse it on the first shave. I was a little too overzealous and my balls felt like they had razor burn about a half hour later. I put some lotion on and that was that.
Also, I keep the shaft's skin tight when I shave the shaft because I'm still scared shitless that this thing will take a bite out of me (a natural reaction for me with anything that hums and has blades near my privates). However, I have relaxed a bit with the ball sac because I'll do both tight and loose now (and for some reason it will get more ball hair that way).
I'm impressed with how less careful I have to be (not careless, but just less careful than using blade-to-skin), and not have to worry about ingrown hairs all the time. Ingrown hairs are painful and time consuming to get those suckers back out. I've not had a single ingrown hair using the Seiko Cleancut.
I'm new to this so I have gotten "knicked" once or twice with the Seiko Cleancut; but it's so mild, and it was really my fault for letting my guard down. How long can one be expected to stare at his nuts anyway? Not a fun job.
The "knicks" I've gotten from a blade-to-skin or even a regular foil hair trimmer were ten times worse. Let's just say that the difference is like "ooh, a little too much" I might say using the seiko compared to "gaa..OWWWWWWW FK Fk Fk" I might shout out and then have to dial 911 from using a blade.
To go along with the "Pornstars choice" title, I just want to conclude that chicks dig it and it makes your cock look bigger. And chicks dig it when you tell them that.
It's well worth the $60 for the product. I'm really satisfied with the smoothness day after day.
Definitely use some non-talc powder with it too. Just enough to be sure there's no moisture (after you shower there's always a little moisture). I use one of those shaver brushes (the ones for lathering up your beard, but another one that's not wet) with that Eve stuff (whatever it's called, Eve Stat 7 or something? Some feminine powder thing that says "EVE" on it).
And don't press too hard. Just let it do it's own thing and you won't shorten the life of the blade.
