Bodworx Body (and Pubic) Shaver

personal-shaver.gifPart of the mission of ShavingStuff.com is to report on various shaving products for all types of shaving, and while I tend to focus on the face, a lot of readers are looking for help elsewhere. So, here's another pubic hair shaver that you might want to look into - the Bodworx Body Shaver, for $96.90 $79.95 $69.95 $59.95, as seen in Esquire magazine. Key features include:

* Micro-fine shaving screen
* Works on male and female pubic hair
* All over body hair removal too

Look, I can't begin to endorse this. I have no idea how well it works. I don't trust the testemonial (ironically because it gives the guy's email address), and the web page reads like an informercial, complete with requisite "But wait, there's more..." lines. However, if you're in the market to shave your pubic hair, include the Bodworx Body Shaver in your research.

I bought from Bodworx about 2 years ago. I just want to say I loved it..It is the only shaver that doesnt give me razor bumps and it really does shave you "smooth", without bumps like a razor leaves a woman's intimate area. I used it everyday, unfortunately it is broke now and im ordering another one right now. Another thing is the customer service was great, back then, no problems at all.

Dropped my Bodworx Body Shave and the head and screen are broken. Can I buy a new head?

I purchased the Bodworx Shaver about a month ago. I just love it. It does everything that it promised to do. I decided to shave my intimate area about a month ago, I first used a regular shaver with a razor. The experience was horrible, itchy, bumps, and sticky. I got on the internet and found this shaver. Needless to say, I am so excited, it works wonders.

I am quite dismayed in the way the whole process with John Carter of Bodworx was handled. I ordered their product and after a week went by and no delivery of your product (I saw on your site that others received their product within 2 days), I contacted the company to inquire of the delivery of my product (they debited my account immediately). After days of no response, I contacted the company again twice after no response to my original inquiry and was finally told "to wait another week" (which was then THREE WEEKS) to see if it comes. It didn't and I then contacted them again and filed a complaint with Paypal about not receiving what I ordered. The company would not acknowledge anything but said they were issuing a refund. Their methods of customer service leave alot to be desired and their inability to take responsibility for proper mailing procedures is unacceptable. The person who was put out and experienced aggrivation was me because I paid for a product and I expected to receive it. Had there been a problem with shipping of the product, and the company informed me of this, I would have understood. But their unprofessionalism confirmed what type of company they have.

I recently purchased the Bodworx Body Shaver Combo and can only say that the Company does exactly as their website promises.

I had a problem that really wasn't even their fault and they promptly took care of it.

Delivery was as advertised and the products have performed excellently.

Once I found out how to make minor adjustments by emailing their customer service, I got even better performance.

I think alot of people are simply unrealistic and don't realize that there is no such thing as a perfect product or a perfect company. Just like there is no such thing as a perfect person... Although too many people seem to think they are.

I know for a fact that some people try to email companies for support and if they don't get an immediate response from an online company - they assume the worse. They don't bother to consider that much of today's email never even makes it to its destination because of email filtering systems. Systems which most people don't even know exist but that are everywhere across the net.

How can a company contact you or reply to a question or problem if they never even received your email?

In this case all one would need to do is simply read most website's frequently asked questions page. How hard is that?

A phone number is usually provided with clear instructions on how to use their customer service and what information is needed. The Bodworx website is no different. It provides all needed information about any aspect of the purchase and how to handle any problems that may arise.

It would seem though that many people are just too busy to read instructions or call a phone number. They'd rather complain and blame their troubles on someone else.

Again - I would simply say that the Bodworx products and customer service are excellent. They do what they say and are very professional.

Doesn't it seem a little strange that the Bodworx company has been online since 2003 [says so right on their website] and that out of all the comments about customer experiences - Only one ends up a complaint?

If you want the real thing, you'll get it from Bodworx. And for the odd complainer who doesn't even bother to enter their name along with their comment... Try reading simple instructions easily available on a website or calling a provided phone number and at least leave a message - Instead of expecting everything to somehow magically make itself right.
