Celebrity Facial Hair Friday - Ben Bernanke
This week's celebrity facial hair Friday pick is none other than the new Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke, who, as you can clearly see in the picture to the right, sports a classic salt and pepper full beard and moustache. I was inspired to pick Mr. Bernanke after hearing my least favorite Wall St. analyst David Johnson on Marketplace say that he was impressed with the new Fed Chairman and was thinking about growing a "Bernanke" beard. I was also inspired to pick Bernanke because he looks like my dad (pictured, left).
So, I called my dad, as any good investigative journalist would, to find out how he coifs. Here's a transcript of the conversation:
me:Hey dad. How do you shave your Bernanke?
dad:My what?
me:Your beard
dad:Is that what the kids are calling them these days?
me:No. I'm just wondering how you take care of your beard. It's for ShavingStuff.
dad:You're still doing that website?
me:Yeah dad, and it's actually a shaving blog.
dad:A b-what? Is that what the kids are calling them these days?
Apparently I'm no Barbara Walters.
Anyway, Ben Bernanke and ShavingStuff dad's beard are classic. Stylish, trimmed, full-bodied, and distinguished. Easy call this week - save it.
