Celebrity Facial Hair Friday - Johnny Damon
This week's celebrity facial hair Friday superstar is none other than baseball's Johnny Damon. I say "baseball's" because it just doesn't sound right to say that New York team's name. As you may know, Johnny recently followed in Babe Ruth and Roger Clemens's footsteps when he left the beloved Boston Red Sox for the New York Yankees. There. I said it. It still smarts.
On the right we see Johnny in all his Red Sox glory. Full mane of hair. Unkempt beard. Bob Seger would be proud. On the left we see Johnny today, clean-shaven and trimmed for the pinstripes. Truth is, he looks better. But you always wonder if Sampson had any regrets.
Normally this is the part where I say "save it or shave it". But today I think I'd like him to grow it back. And put on that old bean-town uniform again. Oh Johnny... We already miss you.
