Would You Shave With a Dorco?
What's in a name? That which we call a razor
By any other word would shave as close.
Guess old Bill hadn't heard of the Dorco. Here's some advice - if you're going to release a razor in the english-speaking world, have someone check if your name sounds... well... dorky. Everyone remembers the classic mistake made by Chevrolet when they release the "Nova" to spanish speaking countries. And who can forget Dockers' classic blunder when they introduced the "StinkyPants" in Australia. You've got to check the translation.
Anyway, for all you ladies in the hizzouse, Dorco has released it's new "Shai" razor for women. According to Aving.net:
Its green color and slender design remind us of a fresh leaf.
Ahh... fresh leaf...
‘Shai’ features micro tilted grinding system coated with micro thin film, and its long lasting blade leaves moist and comfortable feeling after shaving.
Ahh... moist leaves...
The Dorco "Shai" is available in Korean, and maybe elsewhere. I don't really know.

I thought the same thing when I first heard this name. I mean 'dorky' and 'sexy' are not going to be in the same sentence people ... hello!!!
Anyhow it just goes to show you that names for razors and Hollywood progeny can be important.
