Get a Smoother Shave with RazorRESCUE
Here's another product along the lines of RazorGuard or RazorMax, and no it's not just the name that's similar. It's RazorRESCUE, and it's another oil you store your razor in to keep it sharp and prolong its life. We reviewed RazorMax a while back and found that it does indeed add shaves to your razor, but we also found that simply drying your razors really well did a pretty darn good job too.
The one thing which really caught my eye on their website (aside from the fact that it looks like it was designed in 1996 using Dreamweaver 0.9beta2) was that they recommend you "Rinse your razor in cold water as you shave." I have never heard anyone suggest that before, and even though the reason sounds plausible - "This will keep the metal in the blade taught reducing the chance of bumps, nicks and cuts." - I'm a little afraid to try it. Does anyone else out there shave with a cold razor? If so, I'd like to hear about it.
