Turkey Beards

beardrack.jpgPlease don't get grossed out. I wanted to do something Thanksgiving and shaving-related, and I ended up with this - Turkey Beards. I'm not making this up. A turkey's beard is the black, hair-like feathers on a male's breast.

There are actually a fair number of sites showing you how to remove and preserve the turkey beard, filled with very helpful explicit photography. You don't want to see it, especially on Thanksgiving. So take my word for it - the turkey beard of one of the prized possessions hunters display after a successful wild turkey hunt. No doubt the Pilgrims had many hanging from their walls.

Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at ShavingStuff. Now go shave your turkey.
