This Just In - Gentlemen's Refinery
The cooking world has their master chefs - Emeril, Mario Batali, Thomas Keller. The shaving world has their master barbers. Perry Gastis is one such master of the barb, and after stints with The Art of Shaving and Truefitt and Hill, he decided to open his own restaurant, er..., men's grooming line, with
Gentlemen's Refinery.
Dissatisfied with the synthetic additives present in most men’s grooming products, Perry partnered with an organic chemist, and after years of research and development formulated The Gentlemens Refinery: A sophisticated paraben and alcohol free men’s grooming line utilizing the rarest and finest natural ingredients (certified organic wherever possible).
Details for Men just announced that it has started carrying Gentlemen's Refinery, and in an act of shameless self-promotion, they've sent over some samples for us to review. Oh the shame... I think I can live with it.
Here's what we got:
The Gentlemens Refinery Pre Shave Oil
The Gentlemens Refinery Shave Cream
The Gentlemens Refinery After Shave Balm
The Gentlemens Refinery Moisturizer
The Gentlemens Refinery Eye Gel
We'll be putting these products to the test over the next month or so. Stay tuned for our review. In the meantime, click on over to the Ask the Barber page where Perry Gastis answers your questions (and quite well I might add).
