Celebrity Facial Hair Friday - Brad Delp

bbfs.jpg70s rock and roll lost one of it's pioneers recently with the suicide of Brad Delp. Brad, or as my college friend Sonny used to call him - "The Human Vocal Chord" - was the lead singer of the band Boston. I probably listened to their albums a hundred times over back then. And more recently I've had the pleasure of seeing Brad and his latest band Beatlejuice, a Beatles cover band, as they often play at Johnny D's in Somerville MA. They sounded just like the fab four.

0.jpgThe upper right photo shows 70s Brad, rockstar curls, full beard and mustache. The lower right photo shows recent Brad, still sporting the hair (neck-length instead of shoulder-length) with full beard and mustache. A rocker aging gracefully. I'm not crazy about the mix of gray and brown, but I admire the boldness for not trying to hide it.

So sad.
