Celebrity Facial Hair Friday - Sean Penn
This is an awful picture of Sean Penn. I'm not showing it because I dislike Sean Penn or the way he speaks his mind, I'm showing it because it's an example of the media picking the worst depiction of a person to use when someone has said something controversial. And I'm picking it because it's an example of a horrible mustache.
Horrible!
I mean, what was he thinking? Seriously, if you're going to speak publicly at a town meeting and say things which you know some people aren't going to like, at least look presentable. I'm not crazy about the hair, but that mustache has got to go. Is it real? It looks so manicured. Shave it!
Thankfully that's just want Mr. Penn did. Last night Sean Penn appeared on The Colbert Report in response to Stephen Colbert's Meta-Free-Phor-All challenge. Penn was sans-mustache, which probably gave him the edge despite Colbert's home turf.
Sean - no more mustaches. Unless it's for a movie.
