Actually, the $1.99 shave cream works just as well as the $9.99 shave cream. I have spent many many many dollars on different brands of cream, gel, lotions to get the best shave and they're all the same.
Billy Jealousy lightening bolt preshave for eletrics is a big step above the cheap stuff. i used Williams Eletric Shave for many months but it would drip into my mouth, get in my eyes... a total mess. They used to make a gel but I can't get it where I live.
