Leisureguy's Guide to Gourmet Shaving: Shaving Made Enjoyable
A while back we met LeisureGuy and his site leisureguy.wordpress.com which put my little blog to shame. LeisureGuy covers all things shaving-related, with a special focus on traditional, old-school wet-shaving. We're taking real razors. Real men don't need safety.
Now LeisureGuy has gone old-school again, trading his digital publishing for traditional ink and paper. Leisureguy's Guide to Gourmet Shaving: Shaving Made Enjoyable is now available from lulu.com for only $11.95.
The book rocks, and not just because I got a copy signed by the author, and not just because there's a little mention of shavingstuff at the end. It's chock full of useful info, step-by-step instructions, the culmination of years of trial and error.
Plus there are crazy ideas and anecdotes for you to draw on. Some men report positive results by use hair conditioner as shaving cream. Some men create "superlather" - a combination of shaving soap and shaving cream. Some men throw damp towels in the microwave and then treat themselves to the true barbershop "hot towel" experience.
If you've got any curiosity about the art of wet-shaving, this book is for you. Leisureguy's Guide to Gourmet Shaving: Shaving Made Enjoyable is available now for only $11.95.
