New York Times on the Rise of the Philips Norelco BodyGroom
The New York Times had an article last Sunday on the rise of the Philips Norelco Bodygroom. Seems a year ago before ShaveEverywhere.com launched the subject of men's hair grooming anywhere other than the head was taboo.
Today, the Bodygroom is one of at least four products in what’s seen as a distinct and fast-growing category; nearly 250,000 body-hair trimmers have been bought in the United States in the last year, according to NPD data (which does not count Wal-Mart). “Nobody was talking about this category,” Olstrom says. “Now it’s completely out in the open.”
Click on over to the New York Times article for a few pearls of wisdom from the marketing geniuses behind "Robe Guy". And make sure you see the new "Follicle Phil" video if you haven't already.
The Philips Norelco Bodygroom is $34.99.

Interesting article. It is interesting how the shaving industry has become so popular.
I like the Gillette Sensor. Electric razors never worked for me.
