The Quik Shave Razor

More random shaving products from more random web surfing...

Here's one called the Quik Shave. It's got a "Y" shaped top, presumably with two razors in it, so you shave twice as fast.

Quik Shave may save you up to 18 hours of time each year. You can safely shave each of your legs in one minute flat with QS. Guys, shave your head in less than one minute. QS also works for beards or underarms, by using a one-bladed shaving technique.

I think the operative word in that first sentence is "may". Frankly, I'm not buying it. Unless the blades are totally flexible, I'm guessing you'll miss hairs where the two blades come together.

The point is probably moot though. No info on how or where to buy it. Perhaps it's just a prototype.

I don't remember the year, but I do remember meeting
the inventor of this awesome product. I was discussing
the patent with her because my husband also had patent
his invention. It was at Walmart in Pasadena TX. I took it for
granite that "Quik Shave" would always be around. But it seems
to me that Gillette may have bought them out on purpose. If I'm
wrong please find me some. Desperately seeking "Quik Shave"
I won't tell anyone else if you only have a dozen left.

I also have an original metal quick shaver and truly think this is the best shaver of all times. My daughter and I both bought one at the same time many years ago and would love to find them again to give as gifts. I would not trade this razor for any other model in the market today, it is the best razor ever, and I cannot believe we can't get them anymore.

I have had the original, metal quick shave razor for many years and would not use another. They are now going for $40.00 plus. Glad I got mine when I did and before the plastic ones. It's the best razor I have ever had.
