August 2008 Wrap Up for Shaving Stuff
And we're back! I've been on vacation for a week, laying on the beach, grillin' and chillin'. Didn't shave for 8 days and 8 nights. A miracle in some religions. Anyway, I hope you've a great end of the summer. Before we launch into the fall segment of ShavingStuff, let's recap August.
Reviews
Only review this month was for
Barbasol Therapeutic Shaving Cream. I know, I'm slacking. But we're current shaving with products from
eShave, and we just got in
The Nick Stick From Pacific Shaving Company, so check back soon for our reviews of those.
Shaving Accessories
Couple of unconventional shaving accessories to help you rid your skin of unwanted hair. First,
the Epila Personal Laser Hair Remover. Lasers! Must be from the future. Second,
the Goatee Saver, a decidedly low-tech device for shaving within the lines. Must be from the past. No lasers.
Couture
My personal favorite from this past month was the introduction of a couple of
Hip Shaving T-Shirts from Ritual. Check out Shave Guevara and Shave Anything, and get a chuckle from your friends.
Celebrities
We mourned the passing of Dave Matthew's Band saxaphonist
LeRoi Moore. We examined the newest form of juicing - the steroid-injecting mustache sported by hitting machine
Jason Giambi. And we marveled as the John Allan's mobile man spa rolled into Madison Square Garden to shave ten years off of Police front-man
Sting during their final show.
