Celebrity Facial Hair Friday - Bill Melendez

BillMelendez.jpgWho? That's what I said at first. Actually, first I said, "Whoa, old-timer! The saloon ain't servin' whiskey no more." Then I said "who". And then I said nice 'stache!

You may not know Bill Melendez. I certainly hadn't heard of him. But I have heard him, and chances are you have too. Bill Melendez was the animator for the Peanuts cartoon specials like "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown". And, he was the voice of Snoopy! And Woodstock! I wonder if he was the voice of the parents too. WAH wah WAH WAH WAH! You can check out clips of his work on YouTube.

Bill Melendez passed away earlier this month, we're sorry to say. That's why we're honoring the man and his old-school mustache by choosing him as this Friday's Celebrity Facial Hair pick. So long Bill. Thanks for the good grief.
