September 2008 Wrap Up for Shaving Stuff
Hard to believe it's already October. Got a cute monkey costume for my boy for Halloween. Not sure what I'm dressing up as yet, but maybe I'll go as a giant banana. Anyway, before we get too far into this month, let's review September.
Last month we shaved with products from eShave, and were somewhat underwhelmed. That said, I gave my tub of eShave shaving cream to my dad and he thought it was great. So what do I know. You can read my review of eShave White Tea After Shave Cream with Shea Butter
here, and maybe I'll get my dad to write in the counter opinion. My review of eShave's White Tea Shave Cream
is also worth considering if you're thinking about trying these products.
The Mundane And The Bizarre
We started out with an innocuous article from Esquire magazine on Getting The Proper Beard Length
. From there we went to an arguably improper beard length by visiting the South Central Alaska Beard and Moustache Club
. South Central! Represent! We then imagined our favorite celebrities, men and women, totally bald with a visit to BalderaZZi - Imagined Head-Shaving Fun With Photoshop
. And we finished up with the self-help book Shaving The Inside Of Your Skull
, which legally we're obligated to disclose that we do not endorse in the literal sense.
Taking a page out of Car Talk, here was a quick post to announce that ShavingStuff is now available on your Kindle
. All you Kindle owners out there best be reading this blog on the comfort of your new-fangled electronic doohicky. Technology moves so fast.
Shameless Gillette Promotion
Your chance to be famous. There's still time to Sculpt Yourself Into Gillette History
. You've got until October 6th to get your design in for the pole position at the new Gillette's World Shaving Headquarters.
Got a bunch of products going in the Shaving Stuff test labs these days. Look for our reviews of Molton Brown
shaving creams, The Nick Stick From Pacific Shaving
, and the Schick Quattro Titanium.
