Celebrity Facial Hair Friday - Axl Rose

axl-rose.jpgI kind of didn't want to tell you who this picture was and make you guess, but that's hard to do when you need a title for your blog post. So, ladies and gentlemen, the man on the right is Axl Rose, lead singer of Guns 'N Roses, who last released a studio album 17 years ago.

Wow. I'm old. And so is Axl. He looks like he belongs on The Surreal Life next to Vanilla Ice.

But G'NR fans need wait only a few weeks longer. The long anticipated album Chinese Democracy will supposedly be released November 23rd, barring Mr. Perfectionist's interference.

Here's my recommendation for Mr. Rose. Hire a PR team which includes a stylist and shave off that god-awful goatee. Hire a trainer to get you back into shape when you looked so heroin chic. And did I mention shave? Cause seriously Sweet Child o' Mine, you look more Welcome to the Jungle than Paradise City.

Dude, you couldn't be further away from "what's hot & what's not" in men's facial hair. There is a goatee style wave that has hit Hollywood, and the Ax-man joins the ranks of Brad Pitt, Orlando Bloom, Edward Norton, Joe Mantegna, Johnny Depp, Bill Engvall and a host more, all seen sporting a well groomed goatee recently. Might want to do a little more research before you go besmirching the time honored, gentleman's tradition of the goatee.
