Celebrity Facial Hair Friday: George Parros
The Anaheim Ducks right wing George Parros wears one of the most famous mustaches on the ice right now, and seeing as he just signed a 3-year, $2.6 million extension with the team, chances are we'll be seeing a lot more of that 'duster'.
His whiskers are so popular, the Ducks team store sells fake mustaches in honor of him, donating the proceeds to charity. Recently seen sporting the 'stache have been Snoop Dog and actor Michael Rosenbaum, and Parros had this to say about his personal style:
"It's very robust and manly."
I have to agree with that.
When asked about his grooming regimen, he didn't offer up much in the way of grooming tips, simply saying, "I trim it every couple weeks. That's about it. Mine grows pretty wild."
Parros also grows his hair out until it's long enough to cut and donate to "Locks of Love", which donates wigs to children who have lost their hair due to medical conditions or treatments.
You gotta wonder if there's a need for a "Mustaches of Love" program...
