So Long And Thanks For All The Shaves

Cast your memories back to the summer of '04. The stock market was still on the climb. The Red Sox hadn't won a World Series in 96 years. And a shaving novice was chatting with his friend Jay about these newfangled doohickeys called blogs. Five years and a thousand shaves later, it's still hard to believe you can write a website on shaving, and have so much fun doing it.

But it's time for me to hang up my razor and hand the reigns over to someone new. I hope you all have been enjoying Derek's posts as much as I have the last month. Can't wait to see where he takes the site.

I want to thank all the people who have helped make this site a success. I've met a ton of wonderful people in the shaving world, and I'm grateful for all the support they've given, the products they've sent for review, and knowledge they've imparted. I also want to thank all the readers of the site. I've appreciated all your tips and feedback, even when you haven't agreed with every review or opinion. It's great to have the social interaction that comes with being on the web, and I'll miss that tremendously.

But most of all I want to thank my friend Jay, who's gone on to found Blogpire and now runs a very successful company with a wide family of niche blogs. None of this would have been possible without you.
