Shaving Mythbusters

'Twas the day before Christmas and all throughout work,
No one could leave early because your boss is a jerk.

So instead you surfed on over to ShavingStuff.com for a few minutes of diversion and what did you find? Shaving MythBusters, brought to you by shaving.com (run by Schick).

Did you know that the average human face contains 615 hairs per square centimeter?

I'll bet you didn't. And, I'll bet you subscribed to at least one myth these guys debunk. Read on...

Something Amusing

Like a vampire invited into my inbox I welcome King of Shaves' ShaveTalk. May your email daemon's offspring find comfort in my opt-in-ness. I'm going to hold off recommending their products until I review the samples I'm getting from them, but in the meantime, check out http://www.shave.com/radio/.

We've now added more episodes of our humorous UK radio adverts to shave.com So 'tune in' to the new installments of our 'mini series' of radio advertisements that follow the Boss of 'Big Bucks Shaving Inc' in his attempt to see off his 'upstart' competitor King of Shaves. He is 'helped' in his quest by his faithful assistant MacTree. Enjoy!

If you're Yank-side you can laugh at the way they say "vitamin" and "aloe vera", and if you're a chunnel away from the Continent you can mock our electoral college.

What's the connection?

batteries.jpeg
Does anyone else find it weird that the two biggest razor companies are also the two biggest battery companies? Energizer owns Schick, and Gillette owns Duracell. Should we expect a Schick Quattro with Energizer batteries anytime soon?

Gillette M3Power Vibrating Razor Reviewed

m3power.jpg

"Shaving is an art. And like most art, or Perl, there's often more than one way to do it. For the last few years, my 3 Wand of Baby's Butting has been the Gillette Mach 3, usually with a very dull blade and lots of steaming foam (helped even more so by my recent installation of this little beauty in the shower).

Old Spice's Extreme Makeover

Extreme shaving!!!!

"What's the top-selling deodorant and antiperspirant among teen guys? How about Old Spice, a brand once associated with a has-been, highly fragrant aftershave whose ivory bottle still gathers dust on medicine-cabinet shelves. Since Procter & Gamble Co. (PG ) acquired Old Spice in 1990 it has transformed a small stagnating brand into a men's personal-care powerhouse.
