Raz*War was kind enough to send us the El Fidel Razor Starter Kit to review. We are a once a week shaver so we appreciate their patience in us trying out this amazing razor. Our typical setup is a Gillete Powered Fusion, so the El Fidel doesn't have the vibrating option and we thought we'd miss it, but we didn't.
The handle, bag, and razors are really well made, and the entire shave was painless and close. We also liked the weight of the handle and the pivoting head worked wonders around our nose. The grip on the handle was also great in our hands, and it's nice to see a razor feel more expensive than 12.95 euros - we price it at double that. We also thought how amazing a gift a razor like this would be for the holidays and unexpected given the few choices men have besides overpriced ones.
Gillette's latest grooming product, the Fusion Proglide Styler, is being released on February 1st, and this new 3-in-1 shaving device could be the one razor to rule them all.
"Master your style with one easy tool, the Gillette Fusion Proglide Styler. Trim with Braun engineered technology. Slim and easy to maneuver for even trimming. Shave with Fusion Proglide power for incredible comfort and closeness. Edge with precision edging Blade. Designed for crisp, defined lines."
The stubble look is hot right now, and besides being an easy one to adopt (just skip a few days of shaving), it's also quite comfortable. For guys with sensitive skin, there's no skin irritation from daily shaving, and because you're not growing a full beard, there's no super-scratchy phase to it. And it's also pretty simple to maintain, with a little time and attention once a week (depending on how fast your whiskers grow). With the right tool, such as the Philips Norelco Stubble Trimmer Pro, it's quick and easy.
And right now, you can pick up this stubble trimmer for under $20. Amazon offers the razor for $29.97, which is already $10 below the list price, and right now there's a $10 off coupon underneath the listing, which brings the price down to just $19.97. You can't beat that with a stick. Or if you could, you'd look pretty hot doing it, with that stubble and all...

"The Atlantic reported this month that female pubic hair in America is on the road to extinction, but that's a bit like noting the spotted owl is an endangered species. Grooming and waxing experts say the latest trend in pubic hair removal isn't targeted at women - it's for the guys. There's evidence of this all around us (if you dare to look)."
Is it time for a new look? Consider the goatee, but don't just stick to the basics:
"The Goatee can create a look of mystery or distinction. It can also do a great job of hiding the double chin (well, maybe just from the front)! Regardless, it's a beard style that carries a commanding tone because it brings attention to the mouth, especially when speaking. And for men that like to be heard and noticed, this is a great beard style choice."
The folks over at Beardly have a great selection of beard shirts for holiday giving (or to add to your own beard shirt collection). And while they have a big variety to choose from, here's our pick for a gift for that bearded guy in your life: The Beard Measuring Shirt.
